Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks like someone very sure of himself and what he does, but this time he failed on it like every human. Some years ago, he made an important decision on leaving a team he loved. He saw how his former teammates were doing great without him, and he wants to be part of that.

And he declared that openly. There were some rumours about that already, but he explicitly told it to Corriere dello Sport. He is 39 years old, but he has still plenty of fuel in the tank and trust himself, like always, to make good performances. And that door might be actually open for him.

That team is the Sweden national team, where Zlatan retired after getting knocked out in 2016 Euros. After that, Sweden made it to quarterfinals in the 2018 World Cup leaving behind Netherlands and Italy in the qualifiers. He will probably extend his contract with AC Milan, and he thinks he can still manage to play for both.

The Sweden manager, Janne Andersson, told Zlatan that if he wanted to come back he would have to ask it, and then he would decide. Now the former player of FC Barcelona, Inter, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Los Angeles Galaxy declared it to the media and said it has never been a secret, so the ball is on Andersson's court.
