The skull injury suffered will keep Raul Jimenez out of the pitches for a long time, so a new striker is needed at Wolverhampton, and they found someone to take his position until the Mexican is back.

Fortunately and against the odds, Raul Jimenez is recovering positively from his skull fracture, and he will be back in some months. Wolverhampton found out they did not have a good back up in his position to keep being competitive in Premier League, so Nuno Espirito Santo started looking for alternatives.

The first name to appear was Divock Origi, someone who scored many important goals for Liverpool but he will never be a starter there. Then it was rumoured that Diego Costa, a top free agent, might be the new Wolves striker, but the wages he demanded were too high and his behaviour is something to pay attention to.

So the option came from within the club, and that striker is Patrick Cutrone. The Italian was supposed to stay at Fiorentina until the end of the season, but Wolves will call him back and end the loan right now. He had not performed well when he played in Premier League, but this will be just a short term solution.

Cutrone played 30 matches with Fiorentina, but it did not went well, scoring just four goals. He was great at Italy youth levels, scoring 27 goals in 57 matches with the youth national team. Now he will have a new opportunity at Wolves and if that ends up well, maybe he could even keep Jimenez's position to himself.
