Yesterday Inter Miami lost against Toronto FC and the chances they have to qualify for the playoffs are very limited. In this sense, the day after almost failing to achieve their goal, the team officials make it crystal clear who the real leader of Inter Miami is.
Before last night's game against one of the teams that is at the top of the Eastern Conference, David Beckham declared that the world champion with the French national team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Blaise Matuidi, must unleashed his leadership and his quality on the field against Toronto. And so he did.
Blaise Matuidi scored the goal that gave David Beckham's team the partial victory and was one of the few players, along with Lewis Morgan, who had an approved performance. The Frenchman is getting all the praise from his teammates and from the fans who, at the beginning of the season, were eager about Gonzalo Higuaín.
Diego Alonso's Inter Miami will seek the miracle of qualifying for the playoffs next Sunday, November 8, against Cincinnati at 3:30 pm at Inter Miami CF Stadium. Gonzalo Higuain's team is in 12th position with 21 points, while Cincinnati's team is in the bottom with 16 points. Both with 22 games already played.
