What they say in Saudi about Cristiano to Miami, they don't rule out the possibility of CR7 joining Messi at Inter Miami

Cristiano Ronaldo is once again linked to a move to Inter Miami but many are unsure about the possibility.

Saudi Arabian journalists report that Inter Miami is still interested in potentially signing Cristiano Ronaldo soon. The Portuguese striker joined Al Nassr in 2023 and signed until the summer of 2025. Ronaldo joining Inter Miami would be a great sight for many football fans, as many would see the Portuguese striker team up with the other face of football, Lionel Messi. After years of the two football icons battling to define which player is the best in the world, this rumor excites fans to finally see the two pair up in the same team.

Ronaldo's salary with Al Nassr is reported to be $4.1 million a week and an annual base salary of $213.2 million. These numbers are huge compared to the number of what Inter Miami players earn, including Messi. The Argentine star reportedly earns a base annual salary of $12 million and a weekly salary of $230,000 but has a stake in the club and other partnership deals that generate him more money. Ronaldo would likely still earn the most at Inter Miami if he joined, and he would also partner with new brands he had never done before.

CR7 would also fit perfectly in the team as he would be the main striker of Inter Miami. Messi would play as a right-winger or even as a second striker, as he plays with Luis Suarez. Messi has shown that he could play as a second striker since he assisted five goals in Inter Miami's latest 6-2 win against the New York Red Bulls. Messi scored a goal as well, and with Ronaldo involved, the two could break incredible records in the MLS. Inter Miami might have to wait till 2025 for Ronaldo to join the MLS and play with Messi since his contract with Al Nassr expires next year.
