Zidane was also asked about the links to the Bayern Munich job this summer. Hopefully, Real Madrid will win."

Zidane's last job was in 2021 with Real Madrid as he coached the Spanish club for his second spell. The French club became the head coach of Real Madrid in 2016 and left in 2018. For the second time, he coached the club; Zidane joined in 2019 and left in the summer of 2021, where he coached 114 games.
