He will be remembered forever for the people of Argentina as he led their country to win their first ever FIFA World Cup in 1978 when they defeated the Netherlands 3-1 in the final. He coached many clubs throughout his career, including FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Boca Juniors, River Plate, and more. The former World Champion reportedly passed away today after being hospitalized for a month with severe anemia. Many clubs and legends of the game have reacted to the news and are as upset as the Argentinian people.

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have paid their respect to the late Menotti, who impacted the game for many clubs throughout his career.
