This is because the player said that he already has the date on which he will let the world know if he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain or if he will join Real Madrid as a reinforcement.

This statement that shook the world of soccer was given at the gala of the National Union of Professional Footballers of France (UNFP), an event in which the player said he did not want to be the protagonist, so he cut the questions of the press in the bud with his statement.

Kylian Mbappé dragged out the soap opera but already set a date for the announcement of his decision

Upon arrival at the UNFP gala, the media practically assaulted the French striker with the question of whether he was staying at PSG or not, to which the player replied that in June he will have the answer

"I can't say anything about my future but you will know very soon, it's almost decided. This is not the right time to announce my future but yes, my decision is almost made. I will make my decision on the future officially before joining the France national team in June," Mbappé said.

The player's soap opera with the Merengue club is due to the fact that for a long time Mbappé has been reluctant to confirm whether he will leave PSG to go and play for Real Madrid.

And there have been many media outlets that have claimed that the player and the Spanish team have already reached an agreement, and even mentioned figures regarding this, which could not be confirmed by any of those involved.

According to Marca, Mbappé has already signed a contract with Real Madrid for the next 5 years, with a multi-million dollar termination clause that would guarantee that the player would not leave the Merengue club anytime soon.

The French player will arrive at the Spanish team as a free agent, if his arrival is finalized, and the only issue to be discussed would be the salary he would receive at the Merengue team.

Thus, there are already many international media outlets that guarantee that Mbappé already has one foot in Madrid, indicating that the player has already forgotten the humiliation that Carlo Ancelotti's team gave them in the UEFA Champions League

Kilyan Mbappé seems to have already forgotten Real Madrid's humiliation of PSG in the UEFA Champions League

The memory of Real Madrid's humiliation of PSG in the UEFA Champions League is still fresh when the Merengue side made an epic comeback in the match.

In the first leg, PSG took a 1-0 lead with a goal scored by Mbappé. However, in the second leg, Madrid, thanks to an inspired Karim Benzema, defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-1, for a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.

In this way, Madrid humiliated the French club, proving that it doesn't matter how many millions the team has or even if they have Lionel Messi on their roster.

Therefore, the fact that the Frenchman has no problem admitting that he could end up at Real Madrid suggests that he has already forgotten the humiliation his team went through thanks to Los Merengues.
