Why doesn’t Tata Martino start Diego Lainez?

The Argentinian coach knows of the talent the 21-year-old winger has, but his lack of playing time with Real Betis is the main reason why Martino is keeping him out of the starting XI, although after his performance against Jamaica, Martino might consider giving him a starting role on the game against Costa Rica.
