For the first time ever, president Florentino Pérez is thinking on firing head coach Zinedine Zidane. The results obtained by Real Madrid this season were very bad and the president could axe Zizou as a consequence. The three times Champions League winner is facing his worst moment as a trainer since he started his career in 2011.

The Galacticos stand third in LaLiga, behind FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, after earning 40 points on 20 matches played. During the last five matches they were only able to win one and suffered an historical elimination from Copa del Rey against Alcoyano, a very humble team from the Segunda B.

Zizou has managed 90 games since his return to Real Madrid, from which the team won 53, tied 18 and lost 19. All the titles and important things he gained during his first years seem to be very far away now and, at his 48 years old, his chances to continue at the club of his life are at risk.

The names to replace him have already appeared in the radar of Real Madrid, being Raúl González and Guti the two with more options to replace him. But if Zidane leaves, it was recently reported by the French press that he could return to his country and have his first experience as a manager at Ligue 1.
