Yesterday, Real Madrid defeated 3-1 Athletic Club, with Karim Benzema scoring a brace and taking his team to the first place. At the following press conference, Zinedine Zidane showed his obvious happiness about what his striker has done, that made Real Madrid go back into the first spot after a crisis.

Excited, Zizou described Benzema as a forward who does not just think about finding the net, but also involves himself in the play making and assisting his teammates, before naming him the best French striker ever. Zidane told Karim shows he is the best in every match he plays.

This statement will surely be offensive for Thierry Henry. He won a World Cup, he is the top scorer ever for the national team and also for a club (Arsenal), and now he is hearing how one of the best partners he ever had is praising someone who has even been sacked from France for the big number of scandals he had.

Henry and Zidane played two World Cup finals together, winning in 1998 and losing in 2006. Now, the former Arsenal and FC Barcelona striker works as manager of Montreal Impact, in MLS. But his team was just knocked out of CONCACAF Champions League by the Honduran side Olimpia.
