FC Barcelona got tired of Ronald Koeman's antics and showed him the exit after one of their worst starts to a new season in recent years. The loss to Rayo Vallecano whom Barcelona haven't lost against in 19 years proved very decisive in his sacking.

Barcelona B manager Sergi Bajuan was appointed today as the interim until a new manager is found, reports believe the manager is found already, just a matter of time and sorting some details before he could be announced, the manager is former player Xavi Hernandez who currently manages Al Sadd in Qatar.

Xavi is reportedly interested in taking up the job of the club where he spent most of his soccer career before joining Al Sadd as a player and became their manager after retirement. The club is also willing to let him go but not until he oversees a decisive match against Al Hulail in early November.

Barcelona had a wage limit imposed on them by La Liga which was the reason why they could not register Lionel Messi and eventually led to his departure. They currently have just £4m left to hit the highest of their wage limit and that's what they would be able to offer Xavi.
