Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has failed again, this term very woeful. He has led the team to another disastrous outing and lost with five unanswered goals to rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford. The loss is of greater consequences than the previous losses and could be the last straw that breaks the camel's back.
Manchester United went into the match on the back of three wins from nine games, the last being a 3-2 comeback win over Atalanta with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the winning goal. It exemplified the very pathetic state of the club in recent times under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Today's loss was one that will hit deep in the veins of the Manchester United faithfuls as Liverpool is their biggest rival and Old Trafford is supposed to be a fortress. It was evident as fans began to leave the stadium at half time, going forward they will desist from watching matches.
Ole's severance package is worth £20m and the club should take the bold step and dismiss him before the club plunge further into more disaster. He has clearly shown he's not the man for the job and should not spend a day more at the club.
