Will José Mourinho take Newcastle job: see how much he will collect as salary if he takes it?

AS Roma manager José Mourinho became the latest football manager to be linked to Newcastle United, a trend that has been ongoing since the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) took over the club for £300m.

They have been linked to several players including the world's top stars, many of those that are impossible and just media speculations. José Mourinho who currently manages at AS Roma having also managed at Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Tottenham.

"I have nothing to say about Newcastle. I worked with Mr. [Bobby] Robson [at Barcelona ], one of the greatest in the history of the club, and I have always had a connection with those people and that city that I know well by now. But nothing more. I am 100 percent focused on the Roma-Friedkin project." Mourinho responds when asked about Newcastle.

Mourinho currently earns a salary of €7.5m per season as AS Roma manager and could see his wages doubled if he accepts the Newcastle United job. The club has the money to spend, a top manager like José Mourinho would certainly ask for the cash.
