Who is the legend that could replace Guillermo Barros Schelotto at LA Galaxy?
An Irish coach that played for the club may replace the Argentinian soon.
Guillermo Barros Schelotto's times at LA Galaxy may end soon. The Argentinian head coach is going through one of the worst clubs streaks in history and fans want him to be sacked. So far this season, his team only managed to earn 15 points out of 16 games played and stands in the very last position of the Western Conference.
To this we have to add some rumors from South American press which indicate that Barros Schelotto is being seduced by Brazilian side Palmeiras. After 56 matches as the team head coach and with bad results during the last games (six defeats in a row), Guillermo's time may end soon.
Even though these are just rumors, the press indicated that Robbie Keane is going to be the next coach of LA Galaxy. The Irish played for the team some years during his career. He was bought for $4 million when he was at Tottenham Hotspurs. Now, his time to came back as a manager may be soon.
The Irish coach is 40 years old and hasn't managed a team by himself yet, so this would be his very first experience. He was both player and trainer at ATK, the second manager from Ireland national team and the second manager as well at FC Middlesbrough, club that he left at June 2019.
