Who is Barcelona's new interim coach following in the steps of Pep Guardiola?

The interim coach who was promoted form Barcelona B has a lot of things in common with on of the club ex-player and successful coach. The Club made an announcement that Barcelona B head coach will is appointed as the interim coach of the first team. 

Sergi Barjuan takes over from Koeman after he was sacked following a loss to Rayo Vallecano and will lead the team till the appointment of a new coach. But something is similar in this, Barcelona has been in this familiar situation before and it did paid off. 

During Juan Larporta era in 2008 he promoted Pep Gaurdiola to coach the first team from Barcelona B after the departure of Frank Rijkaard. Juan Larporta is the one that gave Gaurdiola the chance of leading the first team, it's not sure his intentions with Sergi Barjuan. 

Will he go in the direction of Pep Gaurdiola and make Sergi post permanent or Barcelona will have a first team coach soon? Club Legend Xavi Hernandez is expected to make a return to Camp Nou and take over from Sergi.
