Who could be the next New York Red Bull coach in MLS? Find out the names that are rumored
Several names are already beginning to sound to take command of the New York team. Who will replace interim Bradley Carnell?
After the departure of Chris Armas as coach of the New York Red Bull, it was South African Bradley Carnell who became the interim coach. That is why several names have been under discussion for a long time to assume the technical direction of Red Bull for the next MLS season in 2021.
One of those targeted would be Roberto Venturato. The Australian, of Italian descent, has had a great campaign with Citadella in Serie B in Italy thanks to the attacking game that the coach proclaims. Roberto Donadoni, a former MetroStars player in 1996 and 1997, also sounds from Italy. The Italian was fired last month from his job at Shenzen in China.
Other names that sound like Bruno Lange and Eddie Howe. The former had his last job at Benfica in Portugal. There he won the league but had to resign due to poor results but has experience in one of the most renowned clubs in Europe. The other comes from relegation with Bournemouth in the Premier League and has a lot of experience in British football. Who of these four coaches will take over at the New York Red Bull?
