Pep Guardiola is linked by contract with Manchester City until July 30, 2021. Although the Spanish coach is going through such a good moment in the Premier League, the English club is considering some options to replace him in case he decides not to extend his contract.

The only thing that is certain is that Guardiola can decide what it wants to do. In case he wants to continue as the coach of Manchester City, the club will accept him. But if the 49-year-old Spanish manager decides to leave, the club will have to find a replacement immediately.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Mauricio Pochettino is one of the main candidates to be the successor of Guardiola. The Argentinean is still out of work after being fired from Tottenham in November 2019, after a bad start in the Premier League. It is necessary to remember that Tottenham reached a Champions League final for the first time in its history thanks to Pochettino.

Julian Nagelsman is the other option considered by Manchester City's executives. The German coach is the current manager of the Bundesliga club RasenBallsport Leipzig. In any case, the English club will wait for the decision of Pep Guardiola to make an official offer.
