Where will former DC United Wayne Rooney start his coaching career?

Wayne Rooney revolutionized MLS when he signed with DC United but now he is in the news as it could be the first time he's in charge of a professional team. Derby County, where he is currently a player, would offer him the coaching position for next week. Rooney is very excited about the idea of being a coach.

Wayne Rooney is the leading scorer in all of England's history and he is about to begin his career, hopefully successfully, as a soccer coach. The team currently playing is left without a coach so he would take over the first team in Derby. We have to wait to see if it will only be a coach or a coach player.

At 34, Rooney feels it's time to start his coaching career. He has always said that it was his idea once he stopped playing soccer. Rooney has said in some speech that he has learned a lot from Louis Van Gaal and that in each team he played he was always very close to the coach to learn.
