Gerhard Struber arrives to the MLS after signing a contract with New York Red Bulls. The head coach aged 43 was in front of FC Barnsley last season and conquer the objective of achieving the permanence at Championship.

Struber was born at Austria and his first steps as a coach had place at the U-15, U-16 and U-19 of RB Salzburg. He also had an experience at FC Liefering and Wolfsberger AC. After that he went to FC Barnsley, where he coached the team 39 times. His all-time record is set in 36 victories, 13 draws and 32 losses, after 81 professional games.

But, what should we expect from his team? Those who followed closely his steps in Austrian league and in England Championship assure that his teams play very aggressively and are with no doubts protagonists of every single game they play. We must then deposit some hope in the coach as the panorama seems to be encouraging.

His style could perfectly fit with New York RB that, at this time of the season, are just one position away from the playoffs zone just two points under New England Revolution, the last team in conditions to enter to the post season.
