In the week 16 of the Liga MX, Cruz Azul defeated Rayados 1-0. Robert Siboldi's team didn't performed as they should. Non-the-less, far from assuming the responsibility for the poor performance of the team, Siboldi held the players responsible for the lose.

It was one of the worst matches of the year for 'La Maquina Cementera'. Moreover, it avoided them of qualifying to the final phase of the Liga MX just one week away from the end. Robert Siboldi admitted that they played very bad and that the team was out of shape. Cruz Azul had no game plan and lacked of determination in decisive moments.

But what worries Robert Dante Siboldi the most is the effectiveness in attack. In the last five games Cruz Azul only scored 2 goals. It is something that they must work on, since in addition of having few options to score goals, forwards are making bad decisions on key moments. Siboldi didn't said it, but referred that those responsible for the lack of forcefulness in the game against Rayados are his two forwards, Jonathan Rodriguez and Milton Caraglio.

The lack of precision when shooting goals is not something new. Of the last five games, Cruz Azul won only one, last Sunday, October 25, 2-0 against Chivas de Guadalajara. But when he had to face a direct rivals like America or Tigres, they couldn't win. Cruz Azul dropped to the third place of the standings and now trails Pumas and Leon.
