Thomas Tuchel was working very comfortably at Paris Saint-Germain, preparing the Champions League Round of 16 against FC Barcelona that will be played in February and March, when he was suddenly sacked. President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sport adviser Leonardo decided to kick him to put Mauricio Pochettino in his position.

Despite his anger, Tuchel preferred to make no statement and leave the Parisian side. But after just a month, the German manager is having a new big opportunity with which he takes revenge from Poche. After Frank Lampard was sacked, he is set to join Chelsea and even though it is not yet official, the British press assures his arrival is imminent.

Tuchel was very mad after knowing that he was not going to continue at PSG. He arrived to the final of the Champions League last year, a stage in which his team lost against Bayern Munich. That seemed to be the reason why they considered that he was no longer able to continue at the club.

During his career, Tuchel managed VfB Stuttgart, FC Augsburg, Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund and finally PSG. This will be then his third big European club to manage at his 47 years. As a player, he only passed through German teams. After 127 games as the trainer of PSG he won 96, lost 20 and tied 11.
