Thierry Henry's method to propel Montreal Impact to playoffs

If the season end up tomorrow all of a sudden, the Montreal Impact players would probably be happy and compliant with the idea. They are drained and decimated. If injuries and the tight calendar weren't enough, now they also have to face the losses of some players that attended their national team's call-ups. It wont be easy.

Moods were changing a week ago after the surprising upset they provided to back-then Eastern Conference leader Columbus Crew, which they beat at their home. That defeat was the first one for the Crew in the season. More over: it was the first time in nine games that Columbus wasn't finishing a home game with a win. But that good sensation could be kept for the game against Philadelphia Union, and Curtin's team defeated Montreal 2-1.

Impact remains on a playoffs spot and has a three-point lead over the first team in a non-playoffs-position. That's certainly nothing with seven weeks to go. Furthermore, one of the teams seeking to get a playoffs spot is Inter Miami, a team which game after game is looking better and better.

But Thierry Henry is still confident. He believes that bad conditions for the Impact are making the best out his players to emerge. That's certainly the case with Bojan Krkic. The coach talked about a condition he sees in this team: wit. They will need a lot to face their six remaining games. And Henry will also need it.
