The French coach spoke about what is happening to him in MLS and compared himself to Jurgen Klopp on a particular reason.

Montreal Impact agonizingly qualified for the MLS Playoff and Thierry Henry continues to be criticized. The problem is that they expect a lot from the French coach and that is why he is a constant target of all the criticisms of his team. In the last hours Henry spoke with a local radio station in Montreal and told what is happening to him personally and why he needs them to see the example of Klopp in Liverpool.

Thierry Henry said that the moment he is living is one of the most difficult he has had to deal with. Having to receive so much criticism for his work and until they question his ability as a coach, is affecting the historic player of the France team a lot. According to Henry, there are many people who speak without knowing what is happening within the team.

Montreal Impact is one of the teams that suffered the most from the MLS return after the pandemic because they were not allowed to return to Canada and had to play all the games in the United States. According to Henry, this affected the players a lot and they had to work a lot on the mental part so that they can move forward in MLS. Luckily for them they were able to qualify for the Playoff and now they must face New England Revolution.

Another thing Henry asked is that they give him time to work since a team cannot be formed from one day to the next. For his idea, Henry need at least 3 years and that is why I compare it with Klopp's situation in Liverpool. Klopp took 3 years to form a great team that later won the Champions League. Henry undoubtedly has the experience to move the Montreal Impact forward but must focus 100% on his goals.
