The harsh criticism from Jose Mourinho to Mohamed Salah that shocked Liverpool

Jose Mourinho does not keep his words, ever. He is always blunt with what he says and is unapologetic about it. And he told about the time he made one of the biggest mistakes of his career: rejecting Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian is today a world star and being mistreated by Mourinho played a factor.

Salah played under Mourinho at Chelsea, coming from Basel. But there he never performed consistently and was let go to Fiorentina. Later he shone at AS Roma and was transfered to Liverpool, where he became a world class winger and scored made score a lot of goals look easy.

The Portuguese manager, who is currently coaching Tottenham Hotspur, told Salah he was weak, naive, fragile and lonely. But he was not expecting he would come back to England like he did. He was totally adapted and teared up Premier League, the toughest of the world.

Now it does not seem that Salah will leave Liverpool ever, and if he does so, it would be to Real Madrid with a transfer record for it. The criticism he received from Mourinho boosted his career in a way nobody could imagine. And he is not the first one, because Kevin De Bruyne went through the same situation.
