Zinedine Zidane has been one of the best head coaches in Real Madrid history, after winning three Champions League titles in his first years as a manager. Such a start made everyone thought that he was never going to experience problems as a trainer, but things have changed and Zizou is now near of being kicked of his position.

The Galacticos were eliminated after a tremendous defeat against Alcoyano on Copa del Rey, that make many fans think that the coach should no longer continue. To this, we have to add the fact that Real Madrid is in the second position on La Liga, four points away from Atlético Madrid with two matches played more, and will face Atalanta on Champions League Round of 16.

The French started as an assistant, then managed Real Madrid Castilla and finally arrived to the first team, achieving impressive results on his first months of work. After the bad campaign so far, the Spanish press says that president Florentino Pérez is thinking on axing him and that would mean to pay him a fortune.

As Zidane has a contract signed until June 2022, the club should be paying almost $15 million to kick him. In fact, they would have to pay $40 million, but as two years of his contract signed have already passed, the amount of money has been reduced. The problem is that the club has already paid fortunes to kick Julen Lopetegui, and they were not expecting the same with Zidane.
