The extra-sports reasons for which Gerardo Martino would be prohibited from calling Javier Hernandez to the Mexico national team
Chicharito Hernandez had opened the doors to a possible return but Martino should be prohibited from citing the LA Galaxy forward to the Mexican National Team again.
Although Javier Hernandez is in one of the worst moments of his career and have only scored two goals in the last season, which would not be the main reason that leaves him out of the Mexican soccer team. Gerardo Martino should be ordered not to summon Hernandez to the Mexican team and that is why he does not even take him into account.
The last game that Javier Hernandez played with the Mexican team was in 2019 when he scored a goal against USMNT in Mexico's 3-0 victory. After that time, Chicharito was not called up again and rumors grow that he could be for an extra-sporting reason and not because of his low level in LA Galaxy.
The problem that would remain in force is that Chicharito Hernandez would not have been forgiven the time they went partying with some teammates from the Mexican team after the defeat of the Mexico team against Argentina 4-0. That time, Martino decided to separate Javier Hernandez from the squad and punished him when he did not call him for the friendlies matches that followed the one against Argentina.
This unsolved problem between Chicharito Hernandez, Gerardo Martino and the Mexican soccer federation would be the main reason why the forward has not been summoned to the Mexican team since 2019. For that same reason, in the last press conference, Chicharito had to clarify that he was not retired from the Mexican National Team and that if they called him back he would go very happy.
