Luis González's team will face the Texan derby tonight. Although the coach count on most of his players, it is speculated that he will make some changes in the starting line up. The only players affected by injuries are the defender Paxton Pomykal and the midfielder Santiago Mosquera.

Last Saturday, FC Dallas hosted Columbus Crew, the Eastern Conference's leader. The match finished in a 2-2 draw. The team's offensive performance was good, as they managed to score goals after two games without being able to do so. However, they still showed defensive deficiencies.

The big question for today's game is whether Luis González will keep his confidence on his defenders or if John Nelson - absent against Columbus - will get his place back at the starting line up. Another possibility is that González opts on changing the scheme to provide greater security to his golie. In the current season, FC Dallas conceded 15 goals in 16 games.

FC Dallas counts on a tight schedule and will face Minnesota United FC on Sunday, so it won't surprise that González does some additional touch-ups to keep his players rested and with no injuries. With only eight games left to go until the end of the regular season, FC Dallas holds an auspicious spot in the playoffs race.
