Manchester City have just lost one of their biggest stars for an uncertain amount of time. Argentina striker Sergio Agüero has revealed he is undergoing a difficult health circumstance which will have him out of play for at least two weeks.
The former Independiente and Atletico de Madrid star has reported to be infected with a severely contagious disease. He will miss every training session for at least 10 days and it is absolutely uncertain when he could be back. He is now alone in his home and can't have any contact with other people.
“After a close contact I tested positive. I am following the medical staff instructions to be back as soon as possible. Let's keep on taking care of ourselves”, said the 32-year-old player from Argentina in his official Twitter account.
The news represents a huge blow for Pep Guardiola and the entire Manchester City squad. Despite they have won the last six matches in a row he was said to be considered for the next matches, FA Cup’s clash against Cheltenham on Saturday and the upcoming Premier League’s game against West Bromwich Albion.
