Sergi Bajuan: see his numbers that makes him a bad choice for Barcelona

FC Barcelona have appointed Barcelona B coach Sergi Bajuan as the interim manager till a replacement is found but his numbers are terrible.

Barcelona had enough of Ronald Koeman last night after the defeat to Rayo Vallecano and sent the Dutch manager packing. The decision was long overdue as there had been bad results and unrest in the club both on and off the pitch.

Joan Laporta's decisions now as president were of similar trend to what is happening now. He let go of Ronaldinho in 2008 and hired Barcelona B manager Pep Guardiola. Now he has also let go of Lionel Messi, though forced and now he has appointed Barcelona B manager, though as interim until Xavi Hernandez is ready.

Sergi Bajuan only took charge of Barcelona B at the beginning of this season having previously managed at Barcelona youth teams, Marllorca, Almeria, Recreativo and Zhejiang Greentown but he has unconvincing numbers as a manager which makes it a great risk.

According to stats provided by Wikipedia, he has managed 169 games, won 64, drawn 47 and lost 58. His teams have scored 227, a goal difference of -3 and conceded and has a win percentage of 37.87%. Such numbers are bad for a transition manager expected to steady the ship after managers sacking and preparing ground for the coming one.
