Ronald Koeman's favorite piece got away for a few million Euros

The situation between the board of directos of FC Barcelona and the coach Ronald Koeman apparently are not quite right. It is expected that the Dutch will be the one in charge of renewing the team and returning it to the prominence of before, however nothing close to that has happened. All the departures of players that have been made, have been decisions of the directive and the reinforcements that were already there, do not convince the coach.

The inability of the Management Commission is what bothered Koeman, the coach had requested in a special way the purchase of the Dutch striker from Lyon Memphis Depay, however due to an administrative error, the club could not made the services of the forward. According to local information, Barcelona offered 10 million euros and Lyon asked for 15 million, so the transaction could not be carried out due to a difference of 5 million euros, which is little for a team like FC Barcelona

For Koeman the incorporation of a new striker is very important after the departure of Luis Suarez by decision of a new technical body. The coach made this request from the time of Bartomeu,asking in a special way the Dutch Memphis Depay, who was led by Ronald Koeman in the Netherlands national team, however it must also be accepted that Lyon has put several obstacles by which the negotiation it has become complicated.

Almost out of reach of FC Barcelona, Memphis Depay seems to land in the Premier League, specifically with Manchester City, where he is well known by coach Pep Guardiola, who has known him from his time with Manchester United.
