Playing for Olympique Lyon since 2017, Dutchman Memphis Depay is the name That both Zinedine Zidane and Andrea Pirlo are battling for. This could represent shocking news for Barcelona's coach Ronald Koeman. It was supposed that the club could go after him. And possibly, with a good discount.

26-year-old Depay was one of the knew the stars that showed a great performance in the 2014 World Cup celebrated in Brazil. Netherlands national team had an extraordinarily strong display until they fell against Argentina in the penalty shootout in semifinals. The South Americans would later lose against Germany in the final match.

It is expected that the French club that acquired Depay from Manchester United in January 2017 for €16 million could now release him for just €5 million. His market value is still estimated around €45 million. A successful move could mean a wonderful deal for whoever is the club that grabs him up.

Depay’s past
