Two players from FC Barcelona could be set to leave the club in very few days in case a rumored transfer to AC Milan becomes true. The club’s coach Ronald Koeman is almost not counting on them and could get rid of these names sooner than later. The whole deal could cost €20 million or less for the Italian side.

According to Italy’s sports publication ‘La Gazzetta Dello Sport’, the Rossonero squad is deeply looking into the possibility of signing Junior Firpo and Samuel Umtiti. Both are not parte of the regular starting XI of Koeman in Barcelona and could be truly benefitted from a move to Italy, to earn more minutes in the field.

Born in the Dominican Republic, 24-year-old Junior Firpo quickly moved from the paradise beach of the Caribbean to the fancy south of Spain. After growing up in the Betis youth divisions, Barcelona paid €18 million for his transfer. Still, he has barely had any action in the team during the last months. For just €10 million, he would move to AC Milan.

After growing up as a footballer in Olympique Lyon, Samuel Umtiti quickly established in the defence of France’s national team. After a stellar and unexpected debut in the Euro 2016, he never left the squad again. After that tournament, Barcelona paid €25 million for his transfer. Just like left-back Firpo, the Cameroon-born centerback could be sold in €10 million.
