Arsene Wenger is recognized by many football fans as the historic coach of England's team, Arsenal. However, few remember that, currently, the former DT works in the International Football Association Board, an organization that studies the regulations of the sport. In this context, the former coach proposed a revolutionary change in the regulations that is being seriously analyzed by FIFA.

From his role at the IFAB, Wenger proposed a change in the rules on throw-ins. The specific proposal of the former Arsenal manager consists of being able to perform the wings with his feet. This project is already on the table of the body and could be a revolutionary change in the game.

“In your own field you should have the opportunity to serve with your feet. It would also be a way to make the game faster and more spectacular, offering the possibility of creating a reversal in a few moments ", declared Wenger in the project that would affect the regulation in the throw-ins. In his rationale, Arsene explained the reasons of the game why a rule change should be considered. "With five minutes to go, a serve in your favor should be an advantage, while in a similar situation you find yourself with only nine outfield players against ten from the opposing team," the former DT's explanation began.

"The statistics say that, out of every ten throw-ins, in eight cases you lose the ball. Also because you are obliged to use your hands and whoever receives the ball is always under the defending team's mark", he explained. Building on these foundations, Arsene Wenger created the draft for the rule change for throw-ins.
