Firing and hiring of managers during the league season is not a new event in the Premier League, at least five managers suffer sackings during the season. One has been sacked but who could be sacked next?

Premier League club Watford are the first to hand their manager Xisco Munoz the sack this season after just seven games into the season and eight months in charge of the club. He left the club in 15th position with just two wins from their first seven games. He was replaced with 2016 Premier League winning manager with Leicester City, Claudio Ranieri.

He would not be the only manager who will face the sack this season, but who are the other managers who could be sacked. Four clubs are currently without a win in the Premier League this season, Burnley, Newcastle, Southampton and Norwich City. Pressure will be on the managers, Sean Dyche of Burnley, Steve Bruce of Newcastle, Ralph Hassenhuttl of Southampton and Daniel Farke of Norwich City, to get a win before the bell starts ringing.

Newcastle United have given manager Steve Bruce an ultimatum of two games after the international break to start winning or he may face the sack. Ralph Hassenhuttl and Sean Dyche seem not to be in any immediate danger. Daniel Farke has lost 17 of his last 18 games in the Premier League dating back to the 2019/20 season when they last played in the Premier League.

The two other managers we think are in danger of a sack are Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Both managers have had a difficult last one month, Tottenham have lost three of their last four games while Manchester United have only won two of their last six. Considering the status of the clubs, they could be axed if results don't improve.
