This morning, prior to the Serie A game between AC Milan and Roma for Week 5, it was announced that two AC Milan players have tested positive for Covid-19. One of the is Gianluigi Donnarumma, the undisputed starting goalkeeper of both AC Milan and the Italian national team.

To replace Gianluigi Donnarumma Stefano Pioli, AC Milan's coach, had two options: Gialuigi's older brother, Antonio, or the newest signing of the team, the Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tătărușanu, who arrived from Lyon back in September in exchange for 500 thousand euros. The coach decided to make the Romanian debuted and his decision has made him pay dearly since Tatarusanu was one of the worst players of the game for AC Milan.

Of the three goals that Roma scored against Milan, Tătărușanu was responsible for two (the first and the third). Both goals were very similar and came from corner kicks in which Tătărușanu showed poor reflexes. The first goal was scored by Edin Dzeko in the 14th minute and the third by Marash Kumbulla in the 87th minute.

This was not the only bad decision made by Pioli for today's game. The Italian coach benched important players like Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonalli to rest them for Thursday's Europa League game against Sparta Prague. But the point is that Sparta Prague is a less complicated rival than Roma. Today, AC Milan missed Tonali's pace and Diaz dibbles, as Ismael Bennacer and Alexis Saelemaekers couldn't cover their spots.

With today's draw, Milan is still at the top of Serie A with 13 points. Anyway, the team must be sad because the cut a 5 game-winning streak that included 4 games won on Serie A out of four. Is AC Milan would had won today, they could had gotten a great advantage over the team spotted in second place of the standings, which is Hirving Lozano's Napoli, with 11 points.
