Pep Guardiola was, so far, one of the best soccer managers in history. The Catalan trainer could be able to manage one of the best teams in history: FC Barcelona. Under his mandate, Lionel Messi could reach his best level and it those times Barça found an incredible way to play.

The era of Guardiola at that club started in 2008 and ended four years later, after almost 250 matches and many titles gained. Afterwards, he signed for Bayern Munich, a club in which he worked three years, and Manchester City, a club in which he signed in 2016 and is still working after 264 games.

But despite having an incredible managerial career, Guardiola also committed errors, and he has signed some bad players that didn’t perform as he was expecting to. One of those is Serdar Tasci, who arrived to Bayern Munich in a loan and is now a free agent. Another one in that list is Dmytro Chygrynskyi, Ukrainian defender who he called for Barcelona and stayed just one season.

The list continues with a player for which Guardiola made Manchester City paid $20 million. The attacker is Manuel Agudo Durán, mostly known as Nolito, who left the Citizens after a season. Two other players that the coach asked for and failed are Sebastian Rode, who arrived to Bayern in 2014, and Keirrison, for whom Barcelona paid $15 million in 2009.
