Guardiola is level above Ole Gunnar Solskjær in management and he doesn't hide it. See what he did before the Manchester derby.

Manchester City beat Manchester United 2-0 in the last Manchester derby at Old Trafford in a match that was too easy for Manchester United than what Pep Guardiola himself would have envisaged. City were two goals up by halftime and were only kicking the ball around and whiling away time in the second half.

Guardiola though doesn show it appears to have no respect for Manchester United. City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne revealed an incident from Manchester City training before the match that showed that Guardiola expected the match to be easy and didn't bore his players.

"The day before a game we usually train tactically, based on how the opponent plays. Before United, Pep said: 'We don't know how they are going to play. We shall see'. And we stopped training after ten minutes or so." Kevin De Bruyne said on international duty.

Pep Guardiola started out at Barcelona in 2008 and has gone on to be one of the best managers in the world. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also started out at the same time at Manchester United reserves and also won titles at Molde but the difference in their managerial trajectory is very clear.
