Jose Mourinho, currently in Tottenham, was consistent when he was asked about the current coach of the Netherlands national team Frank De Boer. For Mourinho, De Boer is the worst coach in the history of the Premier League and he also wondered how it could be that De Boer, as bad a coach as he is, could be coaching such a prestigious team as the Dutch.

De Boer came to the Dutch national team after Koeman's resignation to manage FC Barcelona. The Dutch federation had to rush to hire a coach as it had several games ahead of it, including against Mexico in Amsterdam. De Boer comes from being a coach at Altanta United, Inter and Crystal Palace, failing at all clubs.

This fight dates back to 2018 when De Boer said Mourinho was ruining Manchester United's young talents. Mourinho at that time defended himself saying that the only thing he taught them was to win and that if De Boer was Manchester's manager they would surely learn to lose since Frank De Boer never wins.

De Boer was a great soccer player who knew how to represent the Netherlands team for many years successfully. Now he is tasked with guiding the Netherlands on their way to achieving a world title. His debut against Mexico will be a litmus test and Frank De Boer will try to show that he is capable of winning, not just losing as Mourinho says.
