The links between Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur are now many, after the Parisian side decided to hire Mauricio Pochettino, ex-manager from the Spurs, as their new head coach. The Argentine asked for some players that he managed in his time at the English side, as Dele Alli, and the revenge has now arrived.

Jose Mourinho is interested on stealing a player from Poche and convince him to sign at Tottenham. He is Ángel Di María, the attacker aged 32 whose contract with PSG ends in June 2021, the reason why he can already negotiate as a free agent. Mou wants him at the Premier League and is in talks to force that move.

Ángel Di María was formed at Rosario Central, and he played for Benfica, Real Madrid, Manchester United and, finally, PSG. He didn’t leave a very good image at the Red Devils, where he was only one year despite being a superb signing made for $75 million. The possibility to have a second chance at the PL does also seduce him.

With a reported value of $30 million nowadays, according to specialized website Transfermarkt, the Argentine could leave for free. Since his arrival to PSG, he played 243 games, scoring 86 goals and giving 102 assists. Despite he was convinced to leave, as Tomas Tuchel didn’t give him as many chances as he wanted, the arrival of Pochettino may have changed his plans.
