More problem after Koeman as Barcelona cannot afford his million dollars sacking expenses

Barcelona relieved Ronald Koeman of his duties last week. Many Barcelona fans and the media believe he is the problem but their first result and performance after his sacking suggests there are more to it than Ronald Koeman.

The current financial state of state of Barcelona means there will be problems settling the payment of Koeman's severance package and rightly so it is happening. Barcelona cannot afford his fees and are offering a lesser amount which the Dutchman is not willing to listen.

Barcelona are owing Koeman £12m but the club are offering around £4m-£5m, way lesser than what he is hold. It I believed that Koeman is not willing to bend an inch for the club despite being a former captain and a legend of the club.

The situation around the settlement of Ronald Koeman would mean that a new manager cannot come yet. Similar situation was experienced with when Koeman was hired as Barcelona took time before making Quique Setien's sacking with La Liga official.
