Mauricio Pochettino is in advanced talks to coach this European top club and it is not FC Barcelona

In the last year, Mauricio Pochettino established himself as a manager who could make great teams with few resources, something extremely difficult to do. So one top club wants him to prove what he can do with great resources. And it is not FC Barcelona nor Manchester United, as it was rumoured.

It seems both Ronald Koeman and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will keep their jobs, at least for now. But there has been a sacking that was not expected and could already have the Argentinian alligned as a replacement. And would give him the chance of coaching players who already are world class for the first time in his career 

The club who would want Pochettino is Borussia Dortmund. After Lucien Favre was not able to manage a squad with the talent of Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho, Giovanni Reyna, Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt, the board decided to finish his contract immediately and call the former manager of Tottenham.

Pochettino had rejected an offer to become the manager of Chilean national teams only some days ago, something that could hint the negotiations were on course. This could give him a job after a year and a half, and could have plenty of stars under his orders with the objective of winning UEFA Champions League.
