Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain after his shock departure from Barcelona where he had spent 21 years. Kylian Mbappé was on the verge of securing a transfer to Real Madrid after bids were made but it was rejected by PSG, which means they have arguably the best attacking trio in the world.

Different reasons contributed to the attacking trio taking long for the trio to start a match together but they finally did against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League but the trio failed to combine the way they were supposed to. Their last match together was against Olympique Marseille and yet again failed.

Mauricio Pochettino's coaching skills are being called to question due to the failure of the trio to produce as well as having such a talented squad and having never won convincingly this season. They have had wins but considering the level of their attack, they have not been convincing.

The former Tottenham manager spent five years at Spurs but did not win a single trophy, only making the UEFA Champions League final in 2019. He replaced Thomas Tuchel in January after the German was sacked. Tuchel has gone on to Chelsea and delivered the UEFA Champions League.
