Pep Guardiola took charge at Manchester City in 2015 and has transformed the Citizens to the best club in the Premier League in terms of squad depth and quality, number of points amassed, trophies won and individual awards won by manager and players.

Guardiola during his press conference today affirmed that his team is the best in the league and top rivals like Chelsea and Liverpool can not beat them in certain areas when it comes to statistics. It's hard to argue against that fact as the two closest rivals during Guardiola's time here can't lace their boots.

"I don't take note of this. Listen, if you want to involve the statistics that this team has done in the last four years you are going to lose. You are going to lose. In statistics nobody can beat us, I'm sorry." Guardiola said in his pre-match conference ahead of the game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Guardiola is in his sixth season and has won the league three times, the Carabao Cup four times, the Community Shield twice, the FA Cup once and was runner up to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League last season. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City won all four domestic titles in the 2018/19 season.
