In the 62nd minute of the friendly between Barcelona and Girona, Ronald Koeman had Konrad de la Fuente play. The American, son of Haitians, is part of the team where the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, is, and he already dreams of imitating his magnificent career.

"If I had to highlight one of the youngsters, Konrad would say, I'm very happy with him," Koeman said at a press conference after the 3-1 win over Girona in a preseason friendly. In this game Koeman gave minutes to many youth players. The match, which was played at the Johan Cruyff stadium, had two goals from Lionel Messi and another from Philippe Coutinho.

De la Fuente came to Barcelona from a very young age. When he was 10 years old he moved from Miami to Barcelona and drew the attention of scouts to join the prestigious Masia of the Catalan club.
