Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 and unexpectedly, he became one of the best players in the world. His goalscoring stats were insane and his market value rose in tens of millions in a incredibly short time span. And of course, the titles were there. He was key for the English team to win the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League.

Anyway, in the last months appeared some reports saying that the Egyptian was not comfortable in the Reds and wanted an out to Real Madrid. His coach, Jurgen Klopp saw this as an attempt from Zinedine Zidane to unsettle the winger, and decided to fight fire with more fire.

In the Spanish TV Show El Chiringuito, it was reported that Liverpool will give it a shot for Sergio Ramos, whose contract will end next summer. The main defender and captain of the Reds, Virgil Van Dijk, suffered a long term injury and the team needs urgently a new leader in the back line.

Now, Liverpool will be just another of the teams wanting to sign the Real Madrid defender and captain, who is not likely to accept the extension offer. His other suitors are Manchester City, Juventus and of course, Paris Saint-Germain, the team that revealed him to be planning to take him and Lionel Messi.
