There're two issues that are indisputable about José Mourinho: that he's a great coach and that, when it comes to declaring, he rarely goes unnoticed. And more, when they make him angry. The latter was more than clear in an event held by Tottenham, his current club in the Premier League, where he hit his detractors hard.

Tired of criticism due to a bad passage in the league and the elimination in the Europa League, which led to a barrage of criticism from those who do not sympathize much with DT, the Portuguese made a striking comparison: “I don't think anyone he is going to discuss rockets with NASA technicians”.

Along the same lines, Mourinho added that “critics believe that they can discuss football with one of the most important coaches in the world. That is the beauty of football. I've gotten used to it by now and I appreciate it. So for my part there is no problem". In that sense, the Portuguese DT assured that his fans, whom he calls Mouriñistas, motivate him to keep going. “I call them Mouriñistas because in Portugal we use the ending‘ ista ’to support the club. I have so many Mouriñistas around the world that I play for them”, he argued.

Although José Mourinho's Tottenham came to be the leader of the Premier League for some days - there were four dates, from late November to mid-December - and it was believed that he could fight for the title, his performance was diminishing. He's now sixth and, in addition to being eliminated from the Europa League, he also said goodbye to the FA Cup.

The most palpable possibility of him to add a trophy will be next Sunday, April 25, when he plays the English League Cup against Manchester City at Wembley.
