Pep Guardiola’s words never are overlooked. The Spanish coach has lots of experience, lots of titles, and an excessively big leadership over his players. Therefore, every time he speaks, he has lots of repercussion. Now, the Manchester City’s squad boss has again made some noise. This time, talking about UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City has always been a serious contender for the precious continental title, but given the lack of history, it was never enough with building a strong team and signing expensive players. For example, they lost against Olympique Lyon in the quarterfinals in last season, when the last knockout stages were played in Lisbon.

Guardiola was now asked who he thinks would be the new champion in 2020-21 edition, which is currently starting the round of 16. His club beat Bundesliga’s Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 on the first leg played away and will host the German team on the second leg at Etihad Stadium on March 16.

When he was asked about who will win the title, he did not vote for Manchester City, but answered he thinks reigning champions Bayern Munich, who beat PSG in the last final, will conquer the tournament for second year in a row. Will Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Agüero and John Stones like this?
