The current season is not going so well for FC Barcelona and some of the other players. One of the rising stars of the club has departed the team and in a press conference talked his feelings out with no filter. Now he will look for better days in another team from the Spanish La Liga. His dealing with Ronald Koeman was visibly bad.

After moving from FC Barcelona to Getafe CF, Carles Aleñá pointed at his now former coach Koeman, with who apparently had an exceedingly difficult relationship. He left on loan and already made his debut a couple of days ago in a 3-1 win against Elche.

In a press conference, 23-year-old Aleñá said: “He did not fail to me, but it’s hard to deal when you other players are before you in the coach’ consideration. Then, you must be brave, I could have easily stayed in Barcelona without any playing time, but I knew it was going to be difficult. Koeman didn’t like me”.

Now, under the orders of his new coach José Bordalás, things look different for Aleñá: “Now I feel better, he trusts in me. He already wanted me to be here, there was not much else to talk about. Everything turned easy”.

Talent from La Masía

Aleñá made his debut for Barcelona’s first team by the end of 2016, he played from the start and scored in the same game. It was a Copa del Rey match against Hércules, which the Blaugranas would win 4-1.
