It’s known that Erling Braut Haaland, apart from being one of the future world’s best strikers, just in case he’s not already now, likes to create controversy when he speaks. And now, it was not the exception. The Norwegian striker has backed a good friend of him, and for that, has publicly confronted Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid.

Since his professional debut, Haaland has showed his prolific goal scoring ability, with an incredibly high average in RB Salzburg and now in Borussia Dortmund. But also, he’s used to make fun of journalist with some mono-syllabic answers when he speaks after matches. Now, he did the opposite: he was strong enough to defend a friend.

After not being considered in Real Madrid, Arsenal has signed on loan his countryman Martin Odegaard. The 22-year-old has arrived to London to replace Germany’s Mesut Özil. And now, after seeing how his friend struggled for first team minutes, Haaland has decided to take a step forward and warn everybody.

“We all know how good he can be. All they need is to send him into the field, let him adapt and start playing games. That’s all he neeed. When he earns some confidence, he will do incredible things. England is a different league, but I’m sure he can perfectly play as a number 10 with Mikel Arteta”, said Haaland to Norway’s top newspaper Verdens Gang.
