Everybody is tired and in a bad mood. The fans, the executives, the players and the coaching staff. But the real problem is the coach staff keeps denying a reality: the LA Galaxy is on a six game losing streak. Guillermo Barros Schelotto's tenure as LAG's coach has never been fully controlled, but this Sunday he will really face the cliff.

The problem isn't just that the Galaxy is running out of time to get to the playoffs. It's also that, at same point, they need to start thinking about the future. Montreal Impact's front-office said yesterday in a press conferences that their thoughts are now placed in next season. That was just admitting that Henry will fail. And Galaxy needs to do the same.

If the franchise wasn't the Galaxy the six game losing streak would also be hard to swallow in a squad full of talent. Cristian Pavon was  part of Argentina's squad in the 2018 World Cup; Javier Hernández has played for Real Madrid and Manchester United; Sebastian Lletget is part of the USMNT. I mean: it's not the squad. The squad is good enough. It's the coach who is failing.

Nontheless, we are actually speaking of the Los Angeles Galaxy. We are speaking of the most popular franchise in American soccer. And we are talking about the most popular franchise in American soccer which is coming through a six game losing streak and have just lost their California Clásico 4-0. It's hard to understand how and why Guillermo Barros Schelotto is still in charge. He's at the cliff, to say the least.
